We are dedicated to improving our properties and giving back to the community, by donating to a different organization each month, focusing on causes that make a real difference.

With a budget allocated for our 6-phase renovation project, we are able to use our monthly income from the apartments to handle day to day operations, give back to non-profit organizations, and putting the remaining funds back into our endowment. Since our apartments will be fully paid for without a loan, we will be able to keep the rent affordable without needing to increase the rent yearly. Cartee Estates will be able to update the apartments from the allocated funds without needing to raise its rent, despite undergoing major upgrades in every apartment. While our major 6-phase renovations are scheduled for efficiency, our commitment to safety and affordability begins the moment we hold the keys.
Cartee Estates is seeking $60 million from community impact sponsors to purchase 340 units, maintain affordable rent, and begin necessary repairs immediately. To ensure long-term sustainability and keep rents low, we offer non-equity sponsorships (no ownership, equity, or revenue shares). Recognition, such as custom plaques at entrances and breezeways is provided to our sponsors subject to organization approval. Cartee Estates will launch where it all began. The place my mom and dad met, and the place where we became a true family: Northwest Arkansas. NWA was the place I grew up, and for 22 years was the place I called home. It's time to return home and make a difference. It's time to continue my parents' legacy.
Our goal is to close the purchase of our apartments and officially launch by December 2026. This timeline is intentional: it allows for a seamless ownership transition and gives us the opportunity to personally meet every resident before the year ends. By closing this December, we can finalize our roadmap and hit the ground running with phase 1 improvements immediately following New Year’s Day.
Affordable housing is extremely important and needed. I want to be able to provide a place that takes care of its residents and community first, while continuing the legacy of my mom and dad, who took care of apartments together (painting, cleaning, and managing them) for 19 years.
